Twitter Embeds
Published Sunday, January 1, 2023.Twitter Embeds was a discord bot that fixed embeds from Twitter, TikTok and Reddit on Discord with a goal of convinience, seamlessness, and feature-completeness. It parsed and obeys Discord's own markdown rules, and allowed users to delete their own messages via reactions.
Due to my own lack of motivation, the moderation issues with Twitter, API changes with Reddit and TikTok embeds being inconsistent, I've decided to stop operating the bot. stealthgyro seems to be maintaining a fork which I will endorse :) https://github.com/stealthgyro/tilted-embeds. Additional Features
- The bot obeys spoilers, and all of Discord's markdown rules that may prevent a link from embeding (Including quirks)
- Users can delete their own re-composed messages or bot replies to their messages bt reacting with an "X" emoji.
- The bot integrates with HiddenPhox and replies to HiddenPhox's quote-retweet unrolling
